So check your windows\system32 directory and if necessary get the missing dlls from my MissingDLLs folder and drop them into this directory and everything should be fine. ======================================================================================== Bugs fixed for this release ======================================================================================== - None ======================================================================================== New features and improvements for this release ======================================================================================== - Improvement for the messages displayed in the status bar : If a temporary message must be displayed in place of an identical message, it is prefixed with a dot so that it may be identified as a new message. Particularly useful with the clipboard scanner. (You can set another character as prefix with msgprefix in abc.conf, don't choose letters or digits) - In the right click menu of the torrent list or torrent details windows, holding down the right mouse button or the ctrl or shift key while selecting "Remove Torrent+Data/Data" only clears the data space for the torrent(s) while keeping the torrent(s) in the list. - Delete empty data space on stop : A new parameter in Preferences/Queue to automatically delete allocated data space for a torrent when it is stopped with no data ever received (progress = 0). It's mainly useful when you are using the preallocation of data space and want to keep torrents in the list even when they stop on timeout or from manual action without having got any data ; It's a disk space saver. The check box for this parameter has 3 states : You can also set it to delete the data space only for automatic stops ; In this case manual stops will not delete anything. Nothing is done when you stop a torrent while checking or allocating data or waiting. The parameter is on at first run of this release. ======================================================================================== Minor improvements for this release ======================================================================================== - None ======================================================================================== About magnet links that do not load from Internet browser with Windows XP : In Windows XP you may have problems with magnets with a url length over ~2050 characters (crazy number of trackers put in the url...), when using in your browser the internal windows association for magnet urls with your bittorrent client (not only ABC_OKC). The problem comes from the limit for the length of the command line in Windows XP. Moreover if this limit is reached, Windows XP does not truncate the command line but just ouputs an error message without starting the command. More recent Windows have a higher limit for the length of the command line. With Windows XP nothing can be done in the bittorrent client. You must try other ways of getting the torrent : - download or copy the magnet into the clipboard and use the clipboard scanner or paste it into "Add torrent from URL or info_hash" - If it's a public torrent and you have access to the info_hash, do the same with this info_hash - get the torrent file directly Have fun !!
